Black Story
Smooth talking detective Barber takes his work easy, but is a passionate and caring police officer, dedicated to the job and is colleagues. He hangs out with the other officers down at the black penny and seems to lead a relatively happy life. Unfortunately however, he is just coming out of a seemingly nasty divorce, and right into a relationship with single mother Traci (with an i) Nash. how will this recently single detective deal with a new girlfriend and a six year old? He'll propose to her. On a knife. Then she'll say no. Then she'll say yes. He was fatally stabbed in the abdomen killing him in season 3 episode 9: out of time
Strengths
- Easy going guy- He has a lot of friends within the division.
- Smart- Jerly is very good at getting the job done. Not that smart, he gave a knife as an anniversary present...
- Passionate- He always puts his heart into whatever he is doing.
Weaknesses
- mature- He still just trying to float on through life.
- Overly Protective- Does not know where to draw the line between cautious and overbearing.
- Passionate/Spontaneous- Sometimes in the heat of the moment he says things without meaning them, landing him in trouble.
- spends too much time in interview rooms...not doing interviews.

Died Season 3 to a stab wound in the abdomen.
