|Oliver Shaw||Service Record|
Back Story[edit | edit source]
Officer Shaw is a go-along, get-along kind of guy. Easy-going, yes—but don’t make the mistake of thinking he’s a pushover, or you’ll be in for a rude awakening. This married father of three is happiest spending one on one time with his family (or a good sandwich). The kind of cop that doesn’t go looking for trouble, Shaw also won’t shy away from it when it finds him. His easygoing nature makes his approach to policing low-key; which means he’s got his work cut out for him when it comes to training Dov.
In season three he gets kicked out of his house and has to deal with some family problems. Him and his wife try it again a couple of times but it doesn't seem to work out. In season 4 on the night of Noelle and Frank's wedding he refuses to go to the wedding because his wife will be there with a date. Officer Dov Ebstein sets him up with a woman.
What he's got to teach[edit | edit source]
- How to get a rookie to do your paperwork.
- How to get a rookie to pay for your burger.
- This division is your family. Take care of the people here and they will take care of you.
What he's got to learn[edit | edit source]
- Fifteen years on the force have made him cynical. Which means the rookies' idealism might just do him a world of good.
